National Science and Engineering Week
The week beginning the 13th of March was National Science and Engineering Week.
This week was marked by a number of events within our school. Students could take part in activities including mouse dissections, extracting DNA from strawberries and Advanced Van der Graaf skills, where students experimented with a model representing particle accelerators, as used in the Large Hadron Collider.
A team of Key Stage 4 students prepared and delivered a brilliant assembly, that presented these events together with clear introductions to the background and scientific theory.
Thank you and well done to Nandini, Olivia, and Daisy for their hard work!
Clear here to see more photos of the events that took place.
